Third and Fourth return to Gloucester
On Monday 22nd October 2012, the 3rd and 4th bells went to their new home at St Michael's Tower in Gloucester. This is the head quarters of the Gloucester Civic Trust and close by the site of the Rudhall's bell foundry where they were cast in 1710.
We were very sadened to hear of the death on Wednesday 30th January 2013 of Bill Berry, the well known bell ringer and bell hanger of Malvern, Worcestershire. As well as collecting the two Rudhall bells from Stone, Bill was also our initial contact with the Gloucester Civic Trust.
